Widower to Widower

Over two years ago I joined the growing ranks of "widowers" who are woefully prepared for the hell on earth experience they embark upon after the death of their spouse.  Within a few short weeks you ricochet between anger, sobbing, depression, physical pain, and craving the touch of a woman.

Stress and lack of sleep often leads to delusions which can grossly affect your decision-making abilities, and diminish your social "filters" which restrain your actions and verbal expressions. These can lead to errors of judgement which can affect your relationships with your family, friends, work mates, and neighbors.

Learning to cope with these many side-effects of widower-hood becomes critical to your survival and your ability to regain some balance and even joy in your life. I can testify that you can learn to enjoy life again, but..... you may have to go through hell to get there, as I did.

My series of blogs, Facebook posts, and my book, Widower to Widower, are offered to help my fellow widowers to survive this challenge.
